NOTES: This record was cultivated
in the studio over the period of a year. The first single, however
was arranged, recorded, and mixed in one week at the end of
the album.
YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE: Most of the
guitars were recorded direct, except "Revelation";
that was my old Œ60s Silvertone amp case miked with a TLM170.
MY FAVORITE THINGS: "The One"
was written in 5/8 and has an incredibly cool groove. Laura
has a captivating sensuality that breathes life into the already
feisty pop mix. "Ricardo" is one of my all time favorite
songs.
